Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the CloseWeave website. By using the site you accept them; if you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by CloseWeave Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 15499663, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@closeweave.com, or for data questions at privacy@closeweave.com.
2. What this site is
This site provides information about CloseWeave Advisory, a free self-assessment scorecard, and ways to get in touch. It does not sell products or services on the site. Any advisory engagement is agreed separately in a written agreement; using this site or completing the scorecard does not create an advisory relationship.
3. The scorecard
The scorecard produces an indicative, self-reported readiness score for general guidance only. It is not professional, legal, financial, or business advice, and it is not a decision about you or your business. You should not rely on it as a substitute for advice tailored to your situation.
4. No advice through the site
Content on the site is general information, offered in good faith, and may not be complete or current. We are not responsible for decisions you make in reliance on it. For advice specific to your circumstances, please seek appropriate professional advice.
5. Intellectual property
The site and its content, including the text, design, the scorecard, the descriptions of our methodology, and the CloseWeave name and marks, are owned by or licensed to CloseWeave Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or otherwise exploit the content or our methodology without our written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, introduce malicious code, use automated means to scrape data, place excessive load on or disrupt the site, or use it to infringe the rights of others or for any unlawful purpose.
7. Your information
We handle personal data as described in our privacy notice and cookie notice. By submitting the scorecard or an enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it.
8. Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites and use third-party services, for example analytics and advertising where you have consented. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and a link does not imply our endorsement.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw all or part of the site at any time without notice.
10. Our responsibility for loss or damage
The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for loss that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for business loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
