Regulatory status
CloseWeave Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We provide business consultancy. We do not give investment advice, arrange transactions in investments or offer securities, and nothing on this website is an invitation or inducement to engage in investment activity.
This applies to everything on this website, including the pages for investors and for startups.
What we do
We are a consultancy. For investors, we research and screen companies against your thesis, give you an operator's view before you invest, support the companies you back, and help fund managers raise capital. Our reports are factual and commercial. They do not recommend whether to invest.
For companies, we work on capital raising and investment readiness, fractional leadership, go-to-market, deploying and operationalising AI, and market entry. We cannot promise a raise.
What we do not do
- We do not give investment advice, and we do not recommend whether to invest in a particular company.
- We do not arrange or deal in investments.
- We do not offer securities, and this website does not list or promote companies that are raising money.
- Nothing on this website is an invitation or inducement to engage in investment activity.
Introductions
Introductions and transaction mandates are arranged through regulated partners.
Outside the United Kingdom
- United States: we do not provide broker-dealer or investment adviser services.
- The Gulf and the European Union: regulated activity, such as introductions, is carried out only through locally licensed partners.
Independence and conflicts
Our founders and advisors also hold roles at other organisations, and CloseWeave or its team may hold stakes in companies we work with. We disclose any interest in writing on every engagement, and we step back from conflicts.
Our founders' current roles:
- Alessandro Singh: Head of FSI, Retail and Manufacturing at Multiverse Computing.
- Rohith Varma: VP Sales and Strategic Advisor at Multiverse Computing.
Our strategic advisors advise CloseWeave in a personal capacity.
When a fund and a company are both involved, these rules apply:
- One client for each piece of work, named in writing.
- Fees disclosed in writing to both the fund and the company.
- No payments that either side does not know about.
- If we have an interest, we say so. If it conflicts, we step back.

Where our pages describe law or regulation, such as the UK GDPR rules on automated decisions or the EU AI Act, that is general information, not legal advice. We design controls alongside your legal or data protection lead.
How we count figures
We label every figure. Closed, influenced and studied figures are different claims and are never added together, and total contract value (TCV) is always shown with annual contract value (ACV). Career figures are the founders' combined records and are never presented as CloseWeave's results. The definitions are in how we count.
